High Holy Days 5779

High Holy Days are a traditional time of prayer, reflection, remembrance and family gatherings. Our services and programs are designed to make guests and members of our congregational ohana feel at home for the holidays.

As in years past, name tags will serve as an entry pass to High Holiday services as a way to put names and faces together for both fellow members and guests. They will be available for you to pick up in the library as you pass through on your way to services. If you have any questions regarding your membership or becoming a member, please contact Executive Director Richard Field at 595-7521 or ExecutiveDirector@shaloha.com.

Unaffiliated guests and visitors to the islands are welcome to join our community for New Year’s services and festivities. Building on the Rabbi’s leadership and message of openness, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to impose no mandatory charge for non-member tickets for this year’s High Holidays.  Therefore, please feel free to invite family, friends and colleagues, as we open the doors in September to share our majestic Temple and seek to unify the Jews of Hawaii.
