High Holy Days 5783
High Holy Days are a traditional time of prayer, reflection, remembrance and family gatherings. Our services and programs are designed to make guests and members of our congregational ohana feel at home for the holidays.
All attendees (members and non-members alike) need to register. Registering for services is how you ensure that there is a name tag and space for you and your companions. As in years past, name tags will serve as an entry pass to High Holiday services as a way to put names and faces together for both fellow members and guests. They will be available for you to pick up in the library as you pass through on your way to services. If you have any questions regarding your membership or becoming a member, please contact the Office at (808) 595-7521 or admin@shaloha.com. Registration will begin on August 15th.
Unaffiliated guests and visitors to the islands are welcome to join our community for New Year’s services and festivities. There is suggested donation of $180 per person for non-member tickets for this year’s High Holidays. Everyone under age 22 is invited to join at no cost (but must still register). No one will be turned away due to financial constraints. Please contact Executive Director Richard Field at (808) 595-7521 or ExecutiveDirector@shaloha.com to make individual arrangements.
Please feel free to register your family, friends and colleagues, as we open the doors in September to share our majestic Temple and seek to unify the Jews of Hawaii.

Thank you to everyone who has registered! Some of our services have reached their maximum capacity.
If you are interested in attending services and would like to register yourself and your guest(s), please contact the office at admin@shaloha.com to find out which services still have space available. We hope to be able to accommodate as many people as possible.
If you'd like to register for Junior Congregation (ages 4-11), please contact admin@shaloha.com. We are offering our Rosh Hashanah Junior Congregation Service at 5pm on Sunday, September 25th. The service is best for ages 3-10 years old with an adult caregiver. In this 30-45 minute service led by Morah Rachel Garcia and SJS Team, we'll read from a children's prayerbook, hear the shofar, and end with an interactive event for the keiki.
