SJS Non Member Registration 2025-2026 School Year

Note: All School of Jewish Studies and Kadima classes will be conducted in person on Sundays. Please view calendar for more information. SJS and Temple staff will reassess the classroom health and safety situation throughout the school year. Schedule subject to change if need arise.

This form is for non-members of Temple Emanu-El. The tuition rates will be the non-member rate.

Kinder - 4th grade (SJS Sundays)

  • 1st child: $825 for members
  • 1st child: $1,025 for non-members
  • 2nd child and more: $775 for members
  • 2nd child and more: $1,025 for non members

5th - 7th grade (SJS Sundays + Kadima)

  • 1st child: $1,289 ($825 + $464) for members
  • 1st child: $1,592 ($1,025 + $567) for non-members 
  • 2nd child and more: $1,239 ($775 + $464) for members
  • 2nd child and more: $1,592 ($1,025 + $567) for non members
B'Mitzvah Training
  • Applicable only to families with children who have scheduled their B'Mitzvah this upcoming year (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026): $800
  • Applicable only to families with children who have scheduled their B'Mitzvah the following year (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027): $850

You can expect:

We expect:
  • Students to attend school regularly, to arrive on time, and to stay with their class until it ends.
  • Students to behave with decorum befitting a synagogue and an institution of learning.
  • Students to honor the requests of their teachers and other staff members.
  • Parents to work for their children's regular, punctual attendance and to avoid disruptive early departures.
  • Parents to encourage their children to behave respectfully and appropriately toward all community members.
  • Parents to cooperate with our school in upholding the expectations of behavior among all students.
  • Parents to notify the SJS staff of early dismissal in writing. For security, student(s) must be picked up from the classroom for grades 5th and younger.Parent(s) must indicate in writing if someone other than a custodial parent will pick up their child.
  • Respect for self, as well as the persons and property of others, is a keystone of Jewish teaching. Fighting, name-calling, bullying, property destruction, entrance into private areas, and disregard for safety and security will not be permitted. Toys, games, cell phones, and other electronic devices, etc. should not be brought to class unless authorized.
